We are recruiting a small number of talented individuals to join our team in flexible, part-time, remote roles.
Creative Writer – Part-Time, Remote
We are seeking a freelance creative writer with a passion for baking and food storytelling. This position requires solid writing skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with publishing on WordPress. The role is part-time and remote, with flexible hours. Typical responsibilities include researching and producing two well-crafted feature articles per month, with the possibility of additional assignments.
Ideal candidates will have prior writing experience, strong editing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. While you don’t need to be a professional baker to apply, a genuine appreciation for cakes and baked goods is essential. Experience with food photography or collaboration with photographers is a plus. If you enjoy writing clear, engaging content that connects with home bakers and dessert enthusiasts, this role could be a good fit.
Contributor / Content Creator – Recipe and Decorating Roles
We are also hiring two freelance bloggers to join our contributor team. Both roles are part-time and remote, and each contributor will produce one post per month. These posts will include recipe development or decorating tutorials, accompanying photography, and a clear, usable write-up that guides readers step by step.
One opening focuses on recipe creation: you will develop original cake, filling, or frosting recipes, test them for home kitchens, and present them with detailed instructions and photos. The other opening centers on decorating tutorials: you will create visual, easy-to-follow guides that teach techniques and inspire readers to try new styles and finishes at home.
These contributor roles are selective. You will be joining an established team of experienced content creators, so a professional approach, polished photography, and reliable delivery are important. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate previous work—examples of recipes, finished cakes, or step-by-step decorating tutorials and images will strengthen an application.
