Brown Sugar Coffee Scrub for Radiant, Smooth Skin: DIY & Benefits

I love sugar scrubs. I really love them — and this Brown Sugar Coffee Scrub is a current favorite. It smells amazing and leaves skin soft, smooth, and refreshed.

I’ve noticed that caffeine can temporarily improve the appearance of dimpled skin, so coffee scrubs often feel like a little boost. I’m over 30 and I’ve had a baby, so I’m realistic about cellulite; I won’t claim this scrub removes it permanently. Used alongside a cellulite brush or scrubber, though, the temporary smoothing effect is obvious.

Even if you’re not trying to target cellulite, this scrub is simply a pleasure to use. Brown sugar and coffee provide gentle exfoliation while coconut oil, olive oil, and a touch of baby oil leave skin hydrated and silky. I especially love coconut oil for both skin and hair.

This scrub is perfect for an at-home spa day or a thoughtful homemade gift. I picked up the jar, twine, coffee, and baby oil at Dollar stores, so it’s an affordable, beautiful present — though this particular jar is for me.
