Celebrate peach season with these easy Honey Grilled Peaches with Spiced Crumble. Ripe peaches are halved, grilled until tender with nice char marks, then brushed with honey and finished with a crunchy nutty crumble. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a simple summer dessert that’s quick to prepare and always impressive.

Each bite is juicy, sweet, and aromatic. Grilling concentrates the natural sugars while keeping the peaches slightly firm so they hold their shape. A light drizzle of honey adds a bright, natural sweetness that pairs perfectly with the warm crumble and cold ice cream.
Best of all, this recipe comes together in under 30 minutes. It’s an ideal choice when you want a fuss-free dessert for warm evenings or casual gatherings.

What Do I Need To Grill a Peach?
This recipe is very simple and requires only a few ingredients and basic tools. You don’t need an outdoor grill; a grill pan or an oven set to broil works just fine. If using a grill pan, brush the peaches with a neutral oil to prevent sticking—during testing, butter caused sticking on the pan, so vegetable oil is recommended.

Avoid overcooking: peaches become tender quickly and can get mushy if left too long. On a grill pan or outdoor grill, cook about 3 minutes per side over medium-high heat to develop char marks while keeping the flesh intact. If broiling in the oven, monitor closely and aim for about 2–3 minutes per side. After grilling, drizzle with honey and serve immediately.

What Should I Serve With Grilled Peaches?
Grilled peaches are a versatile base. We like to serve them with vanilla ice cream and a homemade nutmeg-almond crumble, but there are plenty of delicious options:
- Crumble Topping: A simple mix of rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, a pinch of nutmeg (or another warm spice), butter, and sliced almonds. Bake until golden and sprinkle over the peaches.
- Ice Cream or Dairy: Classic vanilla ice cream is perfect, but cinnamon or peaches-and-cream flavors are excellent too. For a savory balance, try Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, or fresh burrata.
- Sauces and Drizzles: Extra honey is an obvious choice, or try a drizzle of salted caramel, melted peanut butter, or chocolate sauce for more indulgence.

Notes + Tips
Vegan substitutions: Use vegan butter for the crumble, and swap honey for maple syrup or agave. Choose a vegan ice cream or whipped topping.
Gluten-free substitutions: Use a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend and certified gluten-free oats.
Ingredient swaps: Substitute other ripe stone fruits such as nectarines, plums, or apricots. Swap almonds for walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts. Use cinnamon, ginger, or allspice instead of nutmeg if preferred.
Grilling tips: Choose ripe but firm peaches so they soften without falling apart. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high for good searing. Brush cut sides with oil to prevent sticking and aim for about 2–3 minutes per side to avoid overcooking. A grill basket can help if you’re concerned about handling the fruit.
