Red, White & Blue Trail Mix — a festive, healthy snack perfect for Fourth of July gatherings.

I had the chance to try Blue Diamond’s Blueberry & Toasted Coconut almonds as part of a “Summer Fun” theme. They were the perfect starting point for a simple, patriotic trail mix to celebrate the season.

Blueberries bring the blue, coconut adds the white, and dried cranberries (or cherries) supply the red — it’s an easy, colorful combination that tastes great and looks festive on a picnic table.


4-Ingredient Fourth of July Trail Mix

Ingredients
- ½ cup Blue Diamond Coconut Almonds
- ½ cup Blue Diamond Blueberry Almonds
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- ½ cup dried cranberries (or dried cherries/blueberries)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss gently to mix.
- Portion and serve in ½-cup servings, or place in a decorative bowl for guests to help themselves.
Notes
This trail mix is easy to scale up for larger crowds and travels well for picnics, barbecues, or patriotic parties. Swap the dried fruit for your favorite red or blue options to suit dietary preferences.
